Swing and horse

I done the swing part and the horse. Now left the monkey bar and the slide for the 2nd scene plus the girl when she's not playing anything. However, I think the monkey bar may take quite some time to do it as it will need some extra actions. Thought of changing it to a sandbox or something.

The girl for the horse. This play set I will do the rotating animation only since it wouldn't have much movement in it.

This is how the girl will look in the final outcome of this horse.

Next is the swing.

I used from the previous visual as color reference.

The base of the swing set is reference from

~lost the reference link~
This is because I directly add the image reference to the Adobe Illustrator.

The swing final outcome should look like this. The animating will be just the string and the girl appear.

30% visual done

I did most of the illustration in Illustrator today and I did quite a few. This makes my visual progressing and makes my goal of finishing it this week possible. I redraw it in Illustration because I scare that the design is different from the others. This may help as they look more connected to each other.

Half way there, hut.

Prototype progression

I have done both prototype for scene 1 and 2. I managed to link the files but I thought it was a stupid question to ask the lecturer when it's just so simple. Anyways, the linking doesn't work on the preview but only when the file is directly opened from the published html. ( but Finally~!! )

The action trigger for the scene 2. It is done in every button separately.

Scene 3 prototype

I got how the second scene's prototype work out and now I have to think about scene 3. Different from scene 2, the image I wanted was the button's initial but stays at it's stop frame. It can be tricky so why that's why it may take more time than what I expect.

The progression recorded. At the end it didn't change much as I am still figuring out for that for now.

I also started on the swing visual but currently my laptop wasn't feeling healthy much so saving it can be a task too.

Horse done!

I'm done with the horse and a lot more to do… wee…. anyway, I was thinking that if I were to done my drawings with photoshop for the characters, the file size would be very big. Then I thought that my character wouldn't match much to my art style. For now, it looks like there's multiple design is trying to fit into one. I have to confirm on my full design as I don't really much time to think about it. I can say that now I'm very left behind and I need to catch up!

My horse final outcome

Later I'll need to draw out the character riding on it and animate it to look like she's playing with it.

So I try to compare the two design and I asked for my friend (Adriana's) opinion. She suggested that I took the hatching out to make the design more similar to each other. Other than that, she says the hatching style didn't really suits the children's illustration. And so I did. This is then the comparison of 'before' and 'after'.

Start Prototype

I recently started on the visual of the playground and now is still on the progress of doing it. However, I already listed down what I should be and I should be more serious about my schedule. Anyhow, aside from the visual, I also started on the prototype. So far, I could only done the prototype of the first scene.

The horse from the park. This I will separate it into two parts, the spring and the horse. I'm not sure if I were to draw the little girl here directly or in Photoshop. If I were to do it in Illustrator, the graphic may change due to different attribute.

I tried and tried to link it to the other edge file but it doesn't work. I tried to find it but couldn't get how it was gone. There is a site where someone has posted it, however the file cannot be opened.

I thought it was quite useful as it work well for the people who asked it the first place.Sadly, I have to find other alternative in searching for a way to do it. Most videos I found regarding the linking are mostly linking to the existing url. Which I tested it out to make sure that mine is working well, and sure enough it did.

This probably what I have right now…… Will have to find more tutorials on this. Also, will try to finish up the visuals by this week if possible, aside from the other assignments and research that have to be done.
